Deflategate: Enough is Enough
Today marks the 492nd day of the deflategate saga. Yes you read that right day 492, we have been talking about the possibility of footballs having less psi in them than the standard 12.5 for 492 days now. Whether you think Brady is innocent (myself) or you think he would knowingly "tamper" with football to gain a competitive advantage is beyond the point now. It is absurd that this is still a story. It is absurd that Roger Goodell is still the commissioner of the NFL, and it is even more absurd that this "issue" has the potential to reach the Supreme Court. There are so many bigger issues in this country right now than if footballs were tampered with or not. As a patriots fan I was overwhelmed with joy when on September 2015 I woke up to the glorious news that Tom Brady was found not guilty and the four game suspension was removed. But like my GPA towards the ends of the school year there came a crushing blow, Brady's suspension was reinstated. All in all it would be awesome to see the two sides come together and reach a settlement but at this point I feel that this has turned into a game of tug of war and there can only be one winner. Get ready to be hearing about this story after we graduate college.
Best case scenario for pats fans is that Brady wins rings 5,6,and 7 then retires before the ruling is official.
