Dom's Draftkings Picks 6/4

Dom's Draftkings Picks 6/4

Shitty night again for your boy. However, the blog picks were pretty solid. Odorizzi and Jay were the weakest links with 16pts and 5pts, respectively. Beltre and Correa did their job. Beltre is en FUEGO right now, went yabo last night with 5RBI. Still can't believe John Jay didn't do more damage, had such a great matchup. Oh well, onto tonight's games.

SP: Ian Kennedy - 8.4K

Let's face it, the Indians aren't a great team. They are batting just .241 in their last 58ABs against Kennedy. Couple that with Kennedy's 3.03ERA this year and 59-23 K-BB ratio, and I think we could have a gem on our hands tonight. I'm going to pair him with either the Shark or Kershaw, haven't decided if I want to ball out and snag Clay.

Brandon Belt - 4.8K

He's facing Wacha tonight, who is always a threat to shut down a lineup at any given time. However, I'm taking Belt against him primarily because of the right-lefty matchup. Belt is slugging .556 and hitting .307 (74-241) against above-average righties like Wacha over the course of the 2015 and 2016 season. Pretty solid stuff, plus he's also riding a 3-game hitting streak where he's 6 for 11. Cloudy with a chance of yabos.

Matt Carpenter - 4.1K

Going up against the Shark tonight, normally I hate putting position players who are facing one of my SPs, so I'm not (hint, hint I'm taking Kershaw as my 2nd SP). Carpenter is on my fantasy team and has been producing big numbers all year. Can't forsee that slowing down at any point tonight either. The dude is slugging .557 and hitting .306 (175-571) against righties with low K ratings like Samardzija the past two years. Numbers never lie.

Value Play: Jurickson Profar - 3.1K

I believe Profar was one of the top prospects in baseball, and he came up and largely disappointed. Now, he is back with a vengeance. The guy has hit in every game since being recalled, and went 2 for 5 last night with a HR. Total steal, really nothing to lose at this price point either.

Best of luck! Don't forget to use my referral code!
