I'm going to make this short and sweet. This series is over. Sharks have been a huge disappointment in these finals. Yes, at times they've shown flashes where they can compete with the Penguins but it's not enough. The Pens speed is unmatched. Guys like Hagelin, Kessel, and Sheary are buzzing around all over the ice and none of the Sharks are even putting a finger on them or doing anything to try and slow them down.

Once again, the Sharks big guys didn't come to play. They only turned it up for the third period last night and according to my knowledge a hockey game is three periods so they were asleep for the first two. Pavelski pointless in 4 games, Brent Burns pointless in 3 games, Marleau pointless in his past 3 games. I don't need to continue you get the point. Speaking of Marleau he had a golden opportunity to get the Sharks back in the game as he was on a break away and was stopped by Murray. You may be thinking it was a great save, but it wasn't. Marleau took a half assed chip shot trying to put it over Murrays glove and Murray had no problem gloving it down.

Malkin finally got a goal and it's all but over for the Sharks. Have fun playing in Pittsburgh Thursday night in front of a real hockey fan base. Consol is going to be a full on lituation. Pete Deboer coming out with the hot take of the day and saying "you need to win 4 games last time I checked." Oh thanks Pete for telling us what we already know. Pray for the Sharks.
