Coke Zero 400 Preview
Winless since 2013, Greg Biffle will take the green flag in Daytona Saturday night at 7:45. Other notable top ten starters are Kyle Busch, Carl Edwards, Austin Dillon, and Jimmie Johnson, the notable being Ricky Stenhouse Jr., better known for being Danica Patrick’s boy toy. Stenhouse is winless thus far in his eight-year career. This high speed two and a half mile track is best known for bumper to bumper racing and high speeds. Keep a look out for 26-year-old Austin Dillon, who is still looking for his first win coming off his rookie year. As a rising star in NASCAR, Dillon has been putting up consistent top tens and racing very well in the nationwide series. The rookie to keep your eye on this week is Chase Elliott. His Hendrick Motorsports 24 car is currently sixth in points. A top five this week could lock his spot in the chase. I think the driver to bet on this week is Kyle Busch. Winless since week 13, Busch has been good, just not quite good enough. With one career win at Daytona and six top fives, Busch is sure to be a contender come lap 130. Keep a look out for Denny Hamlin around the same time. Hamlin has an average finishing position of three in his last five races at Daytona.
