Clay Buchholz Acknowledges That He May Be Gone Soon

With the Sox going out and getting Pomeranz and Eduardo Rodriguez pitching good against the Yanks, Clay Buchholz seems to be mentally prepping to be traded and that he wants to be moved. He said, “It’s part of the game. We got a lot of bodies. Just added another guy in the rotation too, it’s part of it. And it happens a lot everywhere else. Right now, with this happening here, I’m sort of ... I guess I’m the odd man out. I’m taking it as well as I can and trying to work as much as I can to stay ready.” This comment comes after he said that he would rather pitch elsewhere than be in the pen because he doesn’t believe he’s declined enough to be a reliever. Hey Clay, you have declined that much. 2011 was your year but you got hurt and blew it. You’re all done and I hate to break it to you but no team in the MLB is going to want you. Why would they? I don’t even want you anymore!

P.S. I’d love to trade him for just about anything at this point. Never forget Clay threw a no-no.

Yikes!

Yikes!
