Brickyard 400 Preview

Sunday's race at Indianapolis is getting much more attention then normal with the legendary Jeff Gordon coming out of retirement to take the spot of his former teammate. Dale Jr. is recovering from a concussion suffered in a crash two weeks ago. He is scheduled to miss at least one more race. Gordon is looking for win number 94. This race in Indy will be his 798th career start. Gordon will be a fan favorite for sure racing his first career contest not in the 24 car. Another driver to watch on Sunday is the 18 car of Kyle Busch. He will be on the pole Saturday night for the Xfinity race. He also swept Indy last year winning both the Sprint Cup and Xfinity races. My third driver to watch and my pick to take home the checkered flag is the 48 of Jimmie Johnson. The 48 car was by far the fastest car in practice on Friday and made the rest of the field look silly in qualifying. Expect to see Johnson take home his fifth career brickyard win on Sunday.
