Is Durant Going to Golden State Worse Than The Decision?
I know the gut reaction is that nothing is worse than the decision but I really think KD's was worse.
Now I think this for multiple reasons, my first being at least LeBron left a shitty team in Cleveland. Durant left a very good team. A team almost good enough to beat the Warriors in the Western Conference Finals and honestly they should've won that series. Speaking of, going to the team you choked and lost to is the softest thing of all time.
Next reason, this doesn't help Durant's legacy at all. If they win anything, it shouldn't do anything to his legacy besides the fact that he couldn't win by himself. LeBron winning in Miami helped his legacy because although they put together a super team, he was clearly the best player on the court. Durant will be in the shadow of Steph all year.
My third and final reason is that although LeBron did a TV special he didn't do it on July 4th. He ruined the most American day of the year for everyone in Oklahoma City and damn near ruined mine, but I wouldn't give him the satisfaction. Side note: it's not the Golden State Tea Party it's the Boston Tea Party Kevin. Boston is what America is about so to turn us away on the 4th of July is so un-american it hurts.
Now look, I know I seem biased because I was so sure he was coming here and he broke my heart, but these are my feelings after taking days to try to cool down. I hope Durant never wins anything and everyone hates him forever. I know I will. You don't look my quarterback in the eye after he paid for a private jet for you and tell him no.
Hey Kevin, if there's two people in the world you don't want to hate you it's me and Tom Brady.
Welcome to hell.
